New Members Join the North West Business Leadership Team
We are pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to the North West Business Leadership Team.
Chris Mayne from Forsberg and Jane Healey Brown from Arup bring with them a wealth of experience and expertise that further NWBLT’s mission of supporting economic growth and development in the region.
Chris Mayne, Managing Director of Forsberg, has been selected to join the NWBLT as part of its ‘Digital Disruptor’ initiative. This initiative aims to support start-up and scale-up businesses by providing them with a 12-month membership to the organisation. Chris was chosen as the winner of this opportunity due to his leadership skills and innovative approach to business.
Chris Mayne’s journey at Forsberg began as an intern in 2003, and he has since risen through the ranks to become Managing Director in 2020. His academic background includes a BSc in Telecommunications, an MSc in Mobile Game Design, and an MA in Professional Practice (Management and Leadership). In addition to his role at Forsberg, Chris co-founded the Electech Innovation Cluster in the Lancaster, Morecambe Bay, and South Lakes area, supporting economic growth and innovation in the region.
In addition to Chris, Jane Healey Brown from Arup is also joining as a new member. Jane will be replacing Mike Wilton as the Arup representative on the NWBLT. This change brings fresh perspective and insights, as Jane shares her wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry.
Jane’s involvement with the NWBLT goes beyond her current role as Arup’s representative, as she was previously part of the Rising Stars programme, identifying and nurturing emerging leaders in the North West.
Simone Peppi, Chair of the NWBLT, said; ‘We are thrilled to welcome Chris and Jane to the NWBLT. Their diverse backgrounds and expertise will contribute greatly to our work in supporting economic growth and innovation in the North West. Chris’s experience in precision technologies and Jane’s commitment to professional development make them both valuable assets to our team.
We look forward to their contributions as they join us in our mission to drive economic growth and prosperity in the North West. With their unique perspectives and industry knowledge, we are confident that they will help us continue to make a positive impact in the region.’
