Simone is the founder and owner of the Pilot Group. Launched almost 30 years ago with proud North West roots, the Pilot Group is an SME focused on sustainable technology solutions for infrastructure and transport, with the mission to create a smart, safe and sustainable environment for a Net Zero future.
Simone attributes the success of the Pilot Group to its focus on culture, values, and its people. She’s a true advocate for the power of having the right people around you, and firmly believes that this can create growth for individuals, business, and place.
Simone’s passion for driving positive environmental change as well as developing people, promoting diversity and providing pathways and opportunities across education and the workplace, translates throughout her business, in her charity work, and in her roles as Chair of the North West Business Leadership Team and The Clean Growth Board, as well as her involvement on the GMCA Low Carbon challenge group and her position on the NW Made Smarter Steering Group.
