NWBLT members come together to raise awareness of mental health in the North West

Barclays and, NWBLT member, PwC are leading a new campaign designed to help raise awareness of and change attitudes towards mental health in the North West business community – “This is Me”.   The campaign is also supported by NWBLT member companies including Manchester Airports Group, United Utilities and Addleshaw Goddard.

“This is Me” aims to provide the business community with access to resources to help them improve mental health awareness and management at work.  Ultimately through this campaign it hopes to reduce the instances of mental health related issues in the workplace, improve productivity and reduce the cost of mental health to the region’s health and social services.  “This is Me” wants the North West to lead the country in pioneering this change.

A prelaunch event is taking place on 20th March in Manchester with a guest speaker –  Paulette Cohen, Director Diversity & Inclusion, Barclays.

The launch of the campaign will be on 14th May by Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester and provide businesses with the opportunity to be involved and plan events with their own employees.
