Duke of Westminster hosts NWBLT celebration

Past and present members of the North West Business Leadership Team and over 100 guests gathered recently at The Duke of Westminster’s Eaton Park to celebrate the 21st Anniversary of the Team’s foundation.

The Duke welcomed guests personally with some recollections of his seven years as NWBLT’s Chairman. Other speakers at the dinner included Paul Lee and Geoffrey Piper, Chairman and Chief Executive of NWBLT, together with Robert Hough, Chair of the North West Regional Development Agency and Stephen Howard, Chief Executive of Business in the Community.
There was also a moving presentation by Bill Holroyd, Chair of the North West youth charity OnSide, together with a speech by sixteen year old Amy Foley, one of the many beneficiaries of OnSide’s work for disadvantaged young people.
